Job Summary
As a Data Indexer for Home Health, index and attach all documents to the correct patient files, retrieve documents from the World View Fax system, and email patient information to the insurance team to confirm eligibility. Communicate with clinical staff to ensure receipt of new patient referrals for proper review, index/attach MD orders and current patient documents to appropriate files, and coordinate with Directors of Nursing, Clinical Managers, and office team to ensure accurate and timely indexing of documents.
Required Qualifications
- Computer skills necessary
- Intake experience a plus
- Home Health experience a plus
- Medical Office experience a plus
