Job Summary
Data & Hardware Intern within the AI Engines team, responsible for configuring and maintaining device deployments across the data collection fleet, troubleshooting collection sets, developing SOPs for onboarding and deployment, building and hosting data collection events, labeling ground-truth data from camera and sensor imagery, performing QA/data-quality checks, and contributing to embedded integration and ML platform tasks. The role offers exposure to hardware, data pipelines, ML, and embedded software, with opportunities to grow into deeper engineering work. Requires on-site work in Rockville, MD, and eligibility to pursue or have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields; hands-on experience with MATLAB, C/C++, or Python; and comfort with networking basics and collaborative agile workflows.
Required Qualifications
- On-site in Rockville, MD; role cannot be fully remote
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related discipline with at least three years of undergraduate study by start of employment
- Hands-on experience with MATLAB, C/C++, or Python
