Job Summary
Act as the primary technical interface for the Chief Engineer, customers, and suppliers regarding all On-Board Data Handling (OBDH) subsystem themes. Lead trade-off studies and define the hardware architecture for the Data Handling System, including data rates, processor speeds, and electrical interfaces. Manage specifications for DH equipment, support manufacturing via co-engineering, and conduct design board reviews and acceptance tests. Define data flows between platform and payload, manage bus traffic and CPU load budgets, and create test specifications for system integration. Support launch and in-orbit test activities while overseeing subsystem management for OTOCOQ deliveries, including integration and verification.
Required Qualifications
- Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Elektrotechnik, Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
- Fundierte Erfahrung in der Architektur von Data Handling Hardware-Subsystemen
- Tiefgehende Kenntnisse gängiger Weltraum-Standards (z. B. ECSS, CCSDS)
- Langjährige Berufserfahrung im Bereich Data Handling oder komplexer eingebetteter Systeme
- Verhandlungssichere Englischkenntnisse
- Awareness of any potential compliance risks
- Commitment to act with integrity
