Job Summary
Own and manage the organization's Data Governance framework and policies, leading practices including ownership, stewardship, classification, protection, and access controls. Operate and support the data governance committee to influence senior stakeholders while driving adoption of governance processes, tools, and SOPs across the business. Implement governance technologies for metadata, data quality, MDM, and reference data management. This 12-month renewable contract supports the firm-wide transformation of the IT landscape within the Data & Technology team, with a strong preference for a Financial Services background.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in data governance / data management (enterprise environment preferred)
- Proven track record implementing data governance frameworks in complex organisations
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with governance tools (e.g. Collibra, Informatica, Alation, IBM IGC, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of unstructured data management and AI governance is a plus
- Background in Financial Services highly desirable
