Job Summary
Senior Data Governance Manager leads the design, development, and oversight of enterprise data governance programs, including creating and implementing DG framework, policies, procedures, and internal controls; assesses DG effectiveness against peers; monitors and recommends improvements; ensures compliance with regulations such as transaction monitoring and information sharing obligations; identifies roles and responsibilities of stakeholders; leverages eDiscovery familiarity; drafts written analyses and reports for third parties; balances client engagement and project management to deliver robust data governance outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s or Juris Doctorate degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent
- Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in a consulting environment building or enhancing DG programs
- Preference for Big-4 consulting experience
- Strong understanding of litigation, compliance, investigative process, and monitorship experience
- Ability to define and evaluate scope of projects, develop work plans, manage teams in execution, report findings, and fully document analyses
- Superior interpersonal, communication, and technical skills
- Professional experience with an understanding of or experience with comparable DG framework and tools
- Strong attention to detail
