Job Summary
Execute data governance and compliance activities within the I&CM Information and Technology Risk Governance Team, monitoring information risk policies and standards. Craft strategies for data quality, maintain metadata and information governance processes, and manage the I&CM Community in Collibra including data lineage and workflows. Develop management reporting on information risk and serve as the Divisional Chief Data Officer representative on Enterprise Business Model Action Teams. Proactively champion data as a strategic business asset while driving efficiencies and partnering with business and technology offices to mature data management practices.
Required Qualifications
- 5 - 7 years of information risk / data governance experience within the financial services industry
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT, Finance, or related field
- Expert knowledge in information / data risk management including privacy risk, cyber risk, identity and access management and data governance
- Experience defining and detailing business processes and information flows including metadata and data lineage
- Proven understanding of industry standard processes related to information risk management
- Experience crafting and maintaining operational policies, standards and procedures related to managing information risk and data governance
- Hands-on data experience which may include experience with reporting, Collibra or other data tools such as Power BI, Tableau / Alteryx
- Experience working with metadata management tools like Collibra, Informatica, etc.
- Ability to think critically and logically
- Outstanding time management skills and a strong work-ethic
- Working under limited supervision, independently determining and developing approach to solutions
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of AI tools and technologies, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and staying up to date with advancements in artificial intelligence
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and APIs
- Working knowledge of cloud technology (AWS)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
