Job Summary
Data Governance Lead responsible for defining and implementing enterprise-wide data governance programs, standards, procedures, and catalog registration. Manages metadata, business glossary, definitions, relationships, and data lineage; oversees data quality, regulatory compliance, retention, and protection; collaborates with IT, business teams, and data stewards; develops dashboards and reports to track governance program effectiveness; provides training and guidance on governance practices; supports policy development and cross-functional alignment to drive data-driven decisions. Requires 5+ years in data governance/management, familiarity with Collibra, data classification and protection, and the ability to influence data practices at scale; requires a Bachelor’s degree and the ability to obtain Secret clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business
- 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, process management, project management, and analytics
- Knowledge of Collibra data governance platform, data classification, data protection, and enterprise data architecture
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in leading governance engagements and delivering senior-level briefings
Desired Qualifications

- Ability to be a decision maker and leader, influencing data practices across the organization
- Experience with leading complex data governance or management engagements
- Experience with leading and planning complex tasks, delivering briefings to senior level leaders in an organization, and identifying and implementing best practices
- Ability to work cross functionally and collaboratively across all groups within the client organization and with all management levels
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Possession of a Secret clearance
