Job Summary
Senior Data Governance and Analytics Presales Solutions Architect leading end-to-end data platform designs on Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks, including governance solutions with Purview and Unity Catalog, medallion architecture, and AI-readiness for Copilot. Responsible for discovery workshops, executive-ready presentations, RFPs and proposals, ROM sizing, and collaboration with Account Executives, SMEs, and delivery teams to translate client challenges into commercial, governance-focused data solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years in data architecture, data engineering, analytics consulting, or related technical field
- 3+ years in presales, solution architecture, or customer-facing advisory role
- Proven experience designing enterprise data platforms with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, or comparable platforms
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview and Unity Catalog
- Experience enabling semantic models, metadata governance for Copilot and NLP
- Strong proposal writing, SOW development, POC/demo design, and executive presentation skills
- Ability to travel within Greater Toronto Area, nationally, and to the United States as required
- Education: University degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent
