Job Summary
Data Governance Analyst supports the execution of enterprise data governance and stewardship activities across data domains. The role defines and monitors data quality requirements, governance workflows, metadata quality controls, and user enablement to drive consistent adoption of data governance practices. It collaborates with data owners, subject area stewards, analytics & AI teams, and other stakeholders to operationalize governance tools and processes, ensure assets are documented and ready for reporting, analytics, and AI-driven use cases. Hybrid work schedule with in-office presence and telecommute/virtual work based in Houston or Dallas, TX.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Information Systems, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field plus at least 6 years of experience in data governance, data management, business analysis, or related roles supporting enterprise data initiatives or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Experience supporting data stewardship, metadata management, governance workflows, data quality processes, and data issue resolution
- Hands-on experience using data governance, data quality, or catalog tools such as Alation, Collibra, BigID, or Informatica Axon
- Experience working across multiple data domains in complex enterprise environments
