Job Summary
Quality Control Coordinators will administer the data quality control process for a voter registration, education, and mobilization project. They will verify and track voter registrations and canvassing data, visually inspect registration forms, redact and process data packets, maintain an organized filing system, produce daily activity reports, provide training and technical support on quality control flags, and ensure compliance with state laws. The role involves working up to 30 hours per week in Houston, TX, with a focus on data integrity across online databases (Blocks and VAN) and collaboration with Canvass Leads, Canvassers, and management.
Required Qualifications
- Passion and enthusiasm for promoting political engagement within the Latino community.
- Some past experience with voter registration, especially in the quality control process, is preferred.
- Ability to learn and use an online database platform.
- Acute attention to detail and legible handwriting are required.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to work flexible hours of up to 30 hours per week.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
