Job Summary
Enter new orders for staff pharmacist review, generate labels for dispensing, and maintain up-to-date customer information. Answer phones to respond to order inquiries, clarify orders as needed, and triage incoming faxes. Ensure all data is accurate and efficient while working independently. Requires a Registered Pharmacy Technician with FL Board of Pharmacy certification, previous pharmacy experience, and knowledge of brand name and generic medications. Shift runs from 2:30pm to 11:00pm with rotating weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with FL Board of Pharmacy
- Previous experience in pharmacy
- Knowledge of brand name and generic medications
- Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently
- Must be multi-tasking and reliable
- Knowledge of SIG-Codes
- Quick typing skills
- Computer literate
- knowledge of Frameworks LTC system
