Job Summary
Enter new orders for staff pharmacist review, maintain accurate customer information, and generate labels for dispensing. Answer phones to respond to order inquiries, clarify orders as needed, and triage incoming faxes. Requires a Registered Pharmacy Technician with Georgia Board of Pharmacy certification, previous pharmacy experience, and knowledge of brand and generic medications plus SIG-Codes. Must possess quick typing skills, computer literacy, and the ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently while managing multiple tasks. Role involves onsite work from 2:30pm to 11:00pm.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with Georgia Board of Pharmacy
- Previous experience in pharmacy
- Knowledge of brand name and generic medications
- Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently
- Must be multi-tasking and reliable
- Knowledge of SIG-Codes
- Quick typing skills
- Computer literate
- knowledge of Frameworks LTC system
