Job Summary
Compile, verify, and sort information by transferring data from paper and electronic files into a database system. Maintain files of source documents, perform data-entry tasks including tags and manifests, and audit inventory control forms with METRC and Air Tabel to identify discrepancies. Review data for deficiencies, ensure proper classification and accuracy of inventory, and assist in filing and storage of security and backup data files. Retrieve data and reports from databases as requested while escalating any order discrepancies to management. Maintain highest standards of security and compliance by adhering to receiving, quarantine, handling, and storage requirements in METRC and other databases.
Required Qualifications
- Strong computer & clerical skills
- Technical expertise
- Strong understanding of relevant databases
- Ability to enter data into a computer quickly and accurately
- Must be proficient in Microsoft & Google processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, Google Docs, etc.)
- Fast typing skills: 60 wpm
- Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
- Detail oriented
- Ability to think analytically
- Ability to communicate effectively and conduct yourself professionally, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment to meet required deadlines
- Ability to work overtime when required
- A minimum of 1-year previous data entry experience
- Proven experience as a METRC data entry clerk with a high degree of accuracy
- Possesses working knowledge of subject matter
- Experience with Warehouse Management System or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) necessary
- METRC knowledge required
- Must be over 21 years of age
- Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and twist for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift 40 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities
- Must be able to stand, sit for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to work in a cannabis manufacturing setting where exposure to fine plant particles, such as dust from grinding or trimming, is common
