Job Summary
Data Entry Clerk needed to collect, report, and file manufacturing data for management decisions. Responsibilities include running reports in the MRP system, coordinating paperwork to verify labor information, recording data in Core Cost Data Sheets (CCDS) for each job, researching missing/underreported data to maintain CCDS accuracy, monitoring on-time shipment and reporting on-time delivery to management, tracking consumables and proper disposal at expiration, re-qualifying vendors against standards, processing material requisitions (creation, approval, ordering, filing), entering and tracking received materials in the MRP system, and performing other duties as assigned by Management. Requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in manufacturing, 40 WPM typing, proficiency with Microsoft Office (esp. Excel/Word), data-entry accuracy, and good English communication and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum two years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Type 40 WPM
- Proven experience in extremely accurate data entry
- Microsoft Office especially Excel and Word
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and procedures
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English (oral and written)
- Ability to be organized and maintain a clean work environment
