Job Summary
Create electronic records for new files and records in accordance with USCIS regulations and deadlines. Consolidate files, create physical and electronic files, and rejack files. Perform data inquiries and searches on government agency systems, generate ad hoc reports, and scan large multi-page documents. This permanent, full-time position supports the overall mission of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services by facilitating the operations of a local Field Office. A Public Trust/Suitability Clearance is required, and candidates must type 30 WPM while lifting up to 45 lbs. Sciolex Corporation, a veteran-owned defense contractor, offers a competitive total compensation package of $18.95 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust/Suitability Clearance under the Department of Homeland Security from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services
- Ability to type 30 WPM
- Ability to read and understand proficiently in English
- Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs. or more in a physical environment
- Ability to perform tasks while bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching
