Job Summary
Data Entry Clerk responsible for the accurate transfer of data from paper files and electronic files to databases and spreadsheets; updating, entering, maintaining, and retrieving information; cross-training to perform essential data team functions; ensuring data accuracy for reports; QA and compliance with client files; coordinating financial assistance payment requisitions; collaborating with staff and community partners to improve data collection, tracking, and reporting; maintaining client records and supporting internal/file audits; requires proficiency in Excel and database systems and a strong work ethic.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma is required
- Studies in computer science, data processing (or equivalent experience) preferred
- Lived experience with homelessness or housing insecurity preferred
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel
- Excellent computer knowledge
- Highly proficient in the use of database systems
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Professional work and punctuality habits
