Job Summary
Lead a high-performing team of data engineers at GetYourGuide, focusing on building trusted data foundations and self-serve capabilities for the supply side of the marketplace. Responsibilities include shaping the roadmap and long-term vision for Supply Data Engineering while ensuring strong data architecture and quality. Act as a strategic advisor to various stakeholders, translate strategic needs into actionable plans, and drive adoption of datasets and self-serve capabilities. Requires experience in data management, strong communication skills, and proficiency in SQL and Python.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in a relevant data management role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Strong grounding in data modeling, pipeline design, orchestration, observability, and data quality
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with tools such as Databricks/Spark, dbt, and Looker
- Marketplace business experience with seller/supplier-side data
- Strength in integrating external data sources
