Job Summary
Lead a team of Data Engineers building scalable, AI-enabled data solutions that power critical customer capabilities across the organization. Mentor and develop talent while staying hands-on with the codebase to set architectural standards, guide technical design discussions, and navigate complex challenges. Advance the software development lifecycle by embedding agentic coding workflows and improving engineering efficiency. Establish high bars for accountability, engineering excellence, and consistent delivery while fostering a culture grounded in open communication and continuous improvement. Requires 2+ years in technical management and hands-on SQL experience with cloud platforms like Snowflake or Databricks. Base salary range is $153,400 - $191,800 USD.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of technical management experience, including direct people leadership, career development, coaching, and performance management
- A strong Data Engineering background with hands-on SQL experience across data ingestion, transformation, and delivery
- Experience working with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery
- Familiarity with technologies such as Kafka, Airflow, Terraform, Python, and Datadog
- Hands-on experience with agentic coding workflows, including using multi-step AI development loops to build, test, and ship code beyond AI-assisted autocomplete
- Technical depth paired with strong mentorship, team-building, and communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities, take action, and continuously improve how your team delivers
- A gaming license issued by the appropriate state agency
Desired Qualifications
- Experience building or implementing a Customer 360 or Customer Data Platform is a plus
