Job Summary
Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines (batch and real-time) using modern data processing technologies; collaborate with analysts and engineering teams to define data requirements and specifications; monitor and optimize pipeline performance; automate ingestion, transformation, and validation; implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code; ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal security standards.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering or related software engineering roles
- Hands-on SSIS development experience including designing metadata models, ETL pipelines, and scalable data structures
- Expertise in Python, SQL, and Spark for ETL component design/build
- Experience building data warehouses on Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery
- Strong knowledge of star schema and dimensional modeling
- Experience with distributed systems and large-scale datasets
- Hands-on with Databricks, Data Lake and SQL
