Job Summary
Data Engineer responsible for building customized reporting solutions, integrating internal and third-party data sources, enabling rapid prototyping for client reporting needs, and ensuring data integrity through monitoring. Role involves collaborating with product/strategy teams, working with platform teams to implement monitoring, experimenting with new technologies to select appropriate tools, and managing releases with Kanban. Requires experience creating dashboards/reports and strong SQL skills; familiarity with data warehouses (BigQuery/ClickHouse) and ETL/ELT workflows (Airflow/Temporal/Dagster); cloud exposure (Google Cloud or AWS).
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Built customer–facing dashboards and reports using data visualization tools like Holistics, Looker, or Tableau
- Proficient in SQL and manipulating large structured or unstructured datasets for analysis
- Designed schemas and optimized queries for a data warehouse like BigQuery or ClickHouse
- Built and maintained batch ETL/ELT jobs with an orchestration platform like Airflow, Temporal, or Dagster
- Familiarity with Google Cloud or AWS big data products
