Job Summary
Data Engineer responsible for building and delivering data solutions and maintaining enterprise data warehouses. Collaborates with business analysts, product managers, QA, and stakeholders to implement data pipelines, optimize SQL and database performance, and automate data processes. Develops scalable data solutions, maintains relational database schemas, designs ETL processes to load data into a centralized warehouse, optimizes queries and indexing, and supports cross-functional teams with robust data solutions and governance. Requires strong SQL skills (MS T-SQL), experience with data warehouse technologies, and familiarity with tools like SSIS and Azure Data Factory; mortgage servicing or financial data experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years proven experience in a data-centric role
- Writing and optimizing complex SQL queries
- Using data transformation tools like SSIS
- Advanced SQL knowledge and proficiency in working with relational databases
- Hands-on experience with data warehouse solutions
- Proficiency with the SQL query language (MS SQL/T-SQL)
- Strong understanding of data modeling and data governance
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Flexibility, results-oriented mindset
- Experience in Azure Data Factory (a plus)
- Experience in Active Batch scheduling software (a plus)
Desired Qualifications

- Ability to gather requirements, design, develop, test, deploy, and support data solutions
