Job Summary
Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines while integrating data across cloud (Snowflake, Azure) and on-prem systems. Optimize data warehouse performance, scalability, and cost efficiency by developing dimensional and analytical data models. Identify and resolve data quality, lineage, and consistency issues, and establish governance standards, metadata, and documentation. Support cloud migration, data platform modernization, and reporting platforms including Power BI and Cognos. Enable AI/ML and advanced analytics by preparing high-quality data assets. This high-trust role requires a solutions mindset with strong ownership for a Tulsa-based client. Flexible schedule with on-call rotation and approximately 10% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Strong expertise in SQL and database optimization
- Hands-on experience with data modeling (dimensional, normalized, analytical)
- Proven ability to implement data governance, MDM, or data catalog solutions
- Experience building enterprise-scale data pipelines
- Familiarity with Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders
- Comfortable working in less structured, evolving environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar experience
- ~5+ years in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, BI, or Analytics Engineering
- Exposure to sensitive data environments (high-trust role)
- Flexible schedule + on-call rotation
- ~10% travel
