Job Summary
Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric, and Databricks while integrating sources into Azure Data Lake Storage or OneLake. Develop ELT/ETL processes, manage Microsoft Fabric artefacts including lakehouses and semantic models, and perform advanced transformations with SQL, Python, or Spark. Optimize Power BI datasets and apply governance best practices via Purview. Troubleshoot failures, support CI/CD, and mentor junior engineers through code reviews. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to translate business needs into robust data solutions. Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning across emerging AI-driven capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Deep understanding of Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric, Power BI and Databricks
- Experience in Fabric/data architecture
- Experience in Fabric/data migrations
- Understanding of the requirements of stringent data governance
- Ability to consult with clients
- Proven experience of mentoring teams
- Experience of advanced data transformations using SQL, Python, Spark, or Fabric Data Engineering experiences to prepare data for analytics and reporting
