Job Summary
Design scalable and resilient data solutions by building, maintaining, and optimizing pipelines across batch and streaming workloads. Coordinate with Platform, Architecture, and Security teams to ensure performance, security, and durability while developing robust models using dbt and orchestrating workflows via Azure and Google Cloud. Manage cloud data warehouses on Snowflake and BigQuery, ensuring best practices in governance, cataloging, and observability. Write clean code in dbt, SQL, Python, and PowerShell to improve complex systems in both OLTP and OLAP environments. Participate in a light rotating on-call schedule of approximately one week per month.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of data warehouse, data lake, and modern data engineering and the ability to communicate such
- Hands-on expertise with Snowflake (or equivalent modern cloud DWH)
- Foundational skills in SQL and experience using dbt
- Familiarity with data governance and metadata management
- Practice experience working in an agile development environment and familiarity with DevOps culture
- Experience with Data Vault 2.0 or NoSQL technologies (e.g., MongoDB, Cosmos DB)
- Passion for clean, scalable, secure and performant data solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, solution-focused mindset
- A growth mindset and openness to feedback
- Participate in a light rotating on-call schedule (approximately one week per month)

- Develop robust data models using dbt and orchestrate workflows via both Azure and Google Clouds
- Manage and enhance our cloud data warehouses on Snowflake and BigQuery
- Ensure best practice in data governance, cataloguing, observability and security
- Write clean and efficient code in dbt, SQL, Python, and PowerShell
- Improve existing complex SQL, PowerShell, and Python used in both SQL-based and non-SQL-based OLTP and OLAP systems
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful data products
