Job Summary
Design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines that integrate ERP, MRP, project management, scheduling, field mobility, and financial systems into governed enterprise datasets. Develop transformations to standardize project, labor, cost, and operational data while automating recurring data movement through scripting, APIs, and orchestration. Build and optimize data models, staging layers, and curated datasets to support enterprise analytics, reporting, and forecasting. Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot failures, and improve reliability, scalability, and data processing efficiency. Document data flows, transformations, dependencies, and technical standards to ensure maintainable solutions. Collaborate with Construction Operations, Finance, HR, and corporate leadership to translate business needs into data solutions and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Strengthen data governance, improve data quality, and implement validation controls to strengthen enterprise reporting and trusted data use.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or related data platform work
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation, automation, and troubleshooting
- Experience building ETL/ELT data pipelines, integrating APIs, working with relational databases, and implementing modern data engineering practices in Data Warehouse or Lakehouse environments
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure-based data services, or similar cloud-based data platforms
- Experience in data modeling and designing scalable data structures to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to data quality, reliability, and documentation
- Experience using Git and CI/CD practices for managing and deploying data engineering solutions
- Current authorization to work in the United States without the need for present or future sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with ERP, MRP, or construction/project management systems
- Exposure to capital project delivery environments or construction operations
- Familiarity with Power BI or similar enterprise BI platforms
- Experience supporting financial, job-cost, project-controls, or operational reporting data
- Knowledge of enterprise data governance and security practices
