Job Summary
Design and manage scalable data pipelines using Python and PySpark, integrating internal and external data sources into a modern data ecosystem. Operationalize predictive models and data-driven applications in production environments while ensuring reliability, performance, and quality of data processes. Develop APIs and services to make data accessible across applications, and implement logging, monitoring, and error handling within pipelines. Collaborate with BI specialists, product owners, and IT teams to contribute to data engineering standards and platform professionalization. Report hierarchically to the IT Manager and actively participate in optimizing the data landscape. This role supports WoningNet's mission to address the housing shortage through data-informed decisions, with a hybrid work arrangement and a salary ranging from €4,360 to €5,733 for 32-36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- HBO of WO werk- en denkniveau, bij voorkeur in Informatica, Data Engineering, Software Engineering of vergelijkbaar
- Aantoonbare ervaring met PySpark/Python voor dataverwerking en softwareontwikkeling
- Bekend zijn met technologieën zoals Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Azure DevOps en Data Lakehouse architecturen
- Ervaring met het ontwikkelen van datapipelines en data-integraties
- Kennis van API-ontwikkeling en integratie van systemen
- Ervaring met versiebeheer (bijv. Git) en softwareontwikkelprocessen
- Ervaring met Agile-methodieken, bij voorkeur SAFe en het werken in multidisciplinaire op DevOps gerichte IT-teams
- Uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse taal (spreken en schrijven)
- Aantoonbare ervaring met PySpark/Python voor dataverwerking en softwareontwikkeling
