Job Summary
Develops, supports and implements data services for multiple applications to meet business objectives. Designs and builds data service infrastructure on multiple data platforms, and leads data migration and transformation activities to ensure data accuracy, security, scalability, availability, and maintainability. Collaborates with users, developers, operations, and business partners to define data service requirements and the data preparation process. Emphasizes a customer-focused approach, effective risk management, and adherence to enterprise practices as part of delivering data solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience as a Data Engineer
- Proficiency in Python and Big Data concepts
- Experience with Hadoop/Hive queries, Impala, REST API
- Proficiency in Linux and Shell Scripting
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
