Job Summary
Build and maintain data marts, materialized views, and data pipelines within an AWS hosted Data Lake environment to support agency-wide analytics and reporting. Design, optimize data workflows, and monitor infrastructure health while troubleshooting performance bottlenecks and data quality issues. Collaborate with engineering, product, and agency stakeholders to scale initiatives while ensuring compliance with federal data security requirements including FISMA and NIST 800-53. Perform other related duties as assigned in a remote, collaborative Agile environment.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
- U.S. citizenship
- ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation
- security clearance
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong proficiency in SQL
- experience with large-scale data infrastructure (AWS)
- Experience building and maintaining data marts, materialized views, or ETL/ELT pipelines
- Familiarity with AWS data services and cloud-based data infrastructure
- Experience maintaining and migrating relational database environments (PostgreSQL)
- Experience maintaining structured and unstructured data
- Understanding of data security and governance in federal environments
- Thrives in a remote, collaborative Agile environment
