Job Summary
Data Engineer on Point72's Market Intelligence/Proprietary Research team responsible for designing and building end-to-end data pipelines to extract insights from large, structured and unstructured data sets. Role involves building cloud-based infrastructure, evaluating new technologies, and enabling investment professionals, researchers, and data scientists to access and visualize data. Collaborates with investment professionals, researchers, and data scientists to deliver robust data solutions and compliant research products. Key skills include Python development, Spark or Scala, big data technologies, and knowledge of graph databases is a plus. The role emphasizes hands-on data engineering to support the firm’s investment research capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related field
- Strong experience in Python Development
