Job Summary
Engineer data products - develop reusable data models, curated datasets, and reporting layers for analytics and downstream consumption. Build reliable data platforms with automation, monitoring, and validation. Collaborate with engineering and operations to translate requirements into scalable data solutions. Champion data governance with modelling, lineage, documentation, and quality. Enable strategic outcomes through lifecycle management and cyber risk initiatives with engineered datasets. Drive AI-ready data foundations for AI/ML use cases and enable AI adoption with predictive analytics and anomaly detection. Support agile delivery through sprint planning and iterative work.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or similar roles
- Strong SQL skills for transformation and optimisation
- Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines
- Proficiency in Python or scripting for automation
- Understanding of data architecture and pipeline design
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Exposure to AI/ML data preparation is a plus
- Bonus Skills Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Experience with Power BI or semantic models
- Understanding of IT infrastructure domains
- Experience supporting AI/ML workflows
