Job Summary
Data Engineer (Life Sciences & Healthcare) responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines and workflows for large-scale analytics and audience forecasting. Collaborates with product managers, front-end and back-end developers, and fellow data engineers to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions. Key tech: Python, SQL, cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS; Azure acceptable), data warehousing, Snowflake, and legacy JavaScript support. Responsibilities include code quality through reviews and testing, mentoring engineers/contractors, and contributing to cross-team standards while enabling forecasting and analytics platforms across global pods.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering
- 2–3 years in a senior-level role
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud and AWS (Azure acceptable)
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts (BigQuery or similar)
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
