Job Summary
Data Engineer (L5) to own and scale data pipelines, build knowledge graphs with structured and unstructured data, and leverage graph ML to power business insights. You will apply ML techniques for information extraction, develop robust data quality systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams of data scientists, engineers, and business partners to understand requirements and deliver scalable data solutions within Netflix’s Knowledge Graph ecosystem.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of software/data engineering experience
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, Java, or Scala
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hive, Presto, Spark, Iceberg)
- Familiarity with machine learning libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX, or Keras)
- Experience in machine learning or NLP domains
- Interest in graph technologies (databases, data models, query languages, graph ML)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to learn new business domains and grow professionally
