Job Summary
Data Engineer at Kyndryl responsible for building and operating data platforms and pipelines that transform raw data into actionable insights. Responsibilities include engineering data pipelines to cleanse, normalize, and transform data sets; performing ETL and data quality checks; leveraging tools like Glue, Databricks, Synapse, and Dataproc; working with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DB2, MongoDB); and collaborating to translate business needs into robust data solutions. Preferred candidates will have experience in cloud modernization, data modeling, and relevant certifications, with a focus on delivering scalable, reliable data-driven capabilities that empower decision-makers.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in computer science, software engineering, or information technology (preferred), degree in a scientific discipline; professional certifications are a plus
