Job Summary

Develop data platform pipelines by collaborating with product owners, analysts, and architects to translate business needs into scalable data solutions. Design and implement data processes, optimize workflows for performance and reliability, and maintain approved data models within CMICS. Perform thorough testing, benchmarking, and code reviews to ensure continuous accuracy, while implementing automated monitoring to maintain pipeline health. Explore emerging technologies and contribute to proof-of-concept initiatives to support the organization's goal of becoming a data-driven entity. This role is entirely remote for candidates residing in the Kansas City metro area, with on-site meetings scheduled as needed.

Required Qualifications

Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or similar
1-2 years experience with cloud-native platforms, distributed systems, and modern data practices including ETL/ETL methodologies or related experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or similar
3-5 years experience with cloud-native platforms, distributed systems, and modern data practices including ETL/ETL methodologies or related experience
Valid driver's license
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
