Data Engineer I

Designs, builds, and maintains scalable data infrastructure and pipelines to support clinical, operational, and strategic decision-making. Collaborates with data scientists, analysts, software engineers, and clinical informatics teams to expand and optimize data flow, ensure data quality, security (HIPAA), and accessibility across sources (EHRs, medical devices, financial systems, external partners). Enables predictive analytics, population health initiatives, and regulatory compliance by creating and managing ETL/ELT processes, data lakes/warehouses, and self-service analytics tools; implements CI/CD for data workflows and participates in cross-functional, agile squads. Mentors junior engineers and translates business requirements into technical specifications while upholding governance and security best practices.
