Job Summary
Lead Data Engineer responsible for architecting, developing, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and platforms that transform complex data into actionable insights. Lead a team of data engineers to design cloud-native solutions integrating structured and unstructured data across secure environments, set engineering standards, ensure data quality, and drive secure, reliable analytics and decision-making across cloud and distributed systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver enterprise data infrastructure that enables analytics, reporting, and mission-critical decisions at scale. Strong emphasis on leadership, data security, and building scalable data solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- 5+ years of experience building and maintaining data pipelines
- 5+ years of experience with ETL development in Java, NiFi, Python, or Scala
- 3+ years of experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, or Kafka
- Experience with AWS services including RDS and Aurora
- Ability to obtain a Security+ Certification within 6 months of hire
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
