Job Summary
Design, implement, and maintain data infrastructure for ingestion, orchestration, and transformation while building and scaling analytical data models on the Redshift, Airflow, and DBT platform. Reconcile raw data from multiple sources into meaningful aggregates and deploy machine learning solutions to support marketing acquisition strategies. Collaborate closely with analysts, scientists, and engineers to produce artifacts for human and AI consumption, translating business requirements into performant data solutions. Requires 3+ years of experience, deep proficiency in SQL, Python, and AWS, with 2 days in-office weekly.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in data engineering roles
- BSc or higher degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
- Deep proficiency in SQL and Python
- Deep proficiency with Airflow and DBT
- Strong experience with Redshift
- Experience with AWS
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, also with non technical stakeholders
- Ability to translate business requirements into well-designed data solutions
- Comfortable working in iterative environments balancing quality and delivery
- Fluency in English
- We require to be in the office 2 times a week for team alignment
- It will be a freelance or fixed term contract 12 months
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in fintech / wealth management
- BigQuery
- Familiarity with conversion tracking and digital marketing data stack is a strong plus (Adform, Adjust, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Rudderstack)
