Job Summary
Data Engineer at Foxconn Houston to build and optimize ETL pipelines using Cicada and other Big Data tools, process real-time and batch data across cross-factory and cross-unit data, manage data for secure accessibility, and create Tableau dashboards in collaboration with data analysts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering, Data Science, Data Management, Information Systems or related fields
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, such as data warehousing and ETL pipeline design, development, and maintenance and optimization
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Proficiency in Hadoop, Kudu, Hive, Kafka, Spark and/or Flink
- RESTful API’s programming, at least 1 year of development experience
- Advanced knowledge and experience with Linux (CentOS, RedHat, Ubuntu)
- Experience with backend API integration
- Experience with system automated code CI/CD
- Experience leading data development projects
- Excellent analytical and advanced troubleshooting skills with end-users/clients
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to learn new things and continuously drive process improvement
- Experience with data warehouse modeling and standardization
- Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools
- Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering, Data Science, Data Management, Information Systems or related fields
- Any software programming certifications are a plus
