Job Summary
Data Engineer in the Finance Solutions team responsible for building and maintaining the data infrastructure that turns raw financial data into actionable insights. Collaborate with engineering, product managers, and finance to translate analytics requirements into scalable data solutions. Design, build, and maintain scalable data models and pipelines to collect, process, and store data from various sources. Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure accuracy and integrity. Create and maintain dashboards and reports to provide visibility into key financial metrics such as revenue, usage, and cost. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of data engineering/analytics experience, strong SQL, and hands-on experience with the Google data stack (BigQuery, Looker), dbt, Apache Airflow, and Python. Bonus points for experience in Ad-Tech or Finance operations, and for Java/Scala development. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement (2 days remote per week) and a relocation package if needed.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years in data engineering, BI, or analytics engineering
- Strong expertise in SQL
- Strong experience using Google data stack including Google BigQuery and Looker
- Experience using tools like dbt and orchestration platforms like Apache Airflow
- Good knowledge of Python for carrying out data related tasks
- Proficiency in building dashboards and reports
- Experience managing client-facing projects and troubleshooting technical issues
