Job Summary
Design, build, and deploy ETL/ELT solutions across projects while creating and managing Cloud services on Azure and AWS to support delivery. Collaborate on system integration projects involving data modelling and data warehouse implementation to advance community-based issues. Organize personalized findings for clients and stakeholders and serve as a liaison between government, corporate, and non-profit teams to source data solutions. Contribute to idea generation, incubation, and experimentation to address data knowledge gaps. Work as a primary delivery resource alongside the Lead Data Engineer to develop production-grade solutions for social good problems.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in mathematics, computer science, psychology, public health, or another related quantitative field
- Undergraduate degree or relevant training
- Implementing data warehouses and appropriate governance
- System integration projects, ideally with the creation of solutions that involve ETL/ELT and data modelling
- Production-level SQL
- One other relevant scripting language (Python, Java, R, etc.)
- Implementing modern data pipelines (batch, real-time) using cloud-based services or enterprise-grade data integration tools/platforms (Informatica, Talend, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, etc.)
- Implementing and managing cloud-based data services
- DevOps and CI/CD processes
- Proven ability to understand business processes in detail and translating these into building data pipelines
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to navigate organizing/prioritizing work efficiently and effectively
- A preference for experience handling confidential data and information with integrity in a shared cloud environment
- The ability to speak, hear, see and use a computer and other office-related equipment
- The ability to sit for extended periods of time, stand, stoop, crawl and lift to 50 lbs
- The ability to establish residence in Delaware
- May require local and regional travel
