Job Summary
The Data Engineer will implement ETL processes for structured data and develop, operate, and maintain data pipelines using T-SQL and Microsoft Fabric components. Responsibilities include designing seamless data interfaces for accurate data flow, managing provisioning of validated data sets, ensuring data platform stability and performance, troubleshooting failures, and automating operations. The role requires a degree in IT or a related field, expertise in T-SQL, practical experience with Microsoft Fabric, and a minimum of 3 years in data management. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Expertise in T-SQL for complex query development, optimization, and troubleshooting
- Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Synapse, Data Factory) for data pipeline development and operations
- 3+ years of experience in Data Management / Data Engineering
- Proven track record of developing and deploying ETL pipelines, Data Warehouse solution or other data platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and monitoring
- Basic scripting skills in Python and PowerShell for automation
