Job Summary
Data Engineer focused on designing, deploying, and optimizing a corporate data warehouse. Build ETL/ELT pipelines using Apache Airflow, ensure data quality and integrity, manage metadata and data cataloging, and collaborate with data analysts and BI teams to prepare and support data warehousing needs. Responsibilities include designing and deploying scalable data architectures, developing loading and transformation processes (Incremental/Full loads), and supporting data governance and documentation. Requires 3+ years of data engineering experience, strong SQL and database skills, Airflow fluency, Python scripting (Pandas, Requests, Pyodbc), and a technical degree. Desirable experience with data quality monitoring, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud data services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of data engineering experience
- Strong SQL proficiency with high-level database experience
- Fluent Airflow usage and building reliable ETL/ELT pipelines
- Experience with Python for data processing (Pandas, Requests, Pyodbc)
- Experience with RDBMS (procedures, triggers, functions), understanding indexes and query plans, performance tuning
- Bachelor's degree or higher in technical, cybernetics, math or related field
- Experience with cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus
