Job Summary
Design and develop data collection, transformation, and loading pipelines (ETL/ELT) while structuring and modeling data to meet analytical and application needs. Ensure data quality, consistency, and freshness across systems by automating flows between sources and destinations. Create optimized queries and maintain dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators in Metabase to support internal teams. Prepare and clean datasets for AI applications, collaborating with product teams to integrate components like LLMs and NLP. Model NoSQL schemas in MongoDB, optimize aggregations and indexes, and contribute to the back-end of web projects using Node.js. This role supports Eterniti's data-driven strategy within its Data & Artificial Intelligence division, focusing on maximizing data value for web products and AI initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Statistics, or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering
- Significant experience with MongoDB and a BI tool (ideally Metabase)
- Experience with NoSQL/MongoDB and a BI tool
- Knowledge of dbt for data transformation
- Familiarity with the Node.js environment
- Use of AI in service of data
- Rigor and strong organizational skills in data handling
- Curiosity and interest in data valorization
- Team spirit and ability to explain technical topics in simple terms
- Autonomy, proactivity, and ability to propose solutions
- Professional English
- MongoDB: NoSQL modeling, aggregations, performance optimization
- Metabase: Dashboard creation, SQL/NoSQL queries, administration
- AWS: Strong knowledge of data services (S3, Lambda, Glue, Athena, Redshift)
- Node.js: REST API development, server-side data manipulation
- Python and/or TypeScript for scripting and data processing
- AI/ML fundamentals: Understanding of core concepts, dataset preparation, LLM API integration
- Advanced SQL: Complex queries, optimization, CTEs, window functions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, n8n)
- Experience with Metabase
- Experience with vector databases (ChromaDB)
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures (Kafka, SQS/SNS)
