Job Summary
Design scalable data solutions in Snowflake, migrating relational domains to the cloud while optimizing workflows and implementing data integrity practices. Develop end-to-end ETL pipelines using Talend and Informatica, write efficient SQL and Python scripts for large dataset analysis, and design distribution layers via Snowflake REST API. Collaborate on proof of concepts, documentation, and best practices for data governance, participating in code reviews to improve deliverable quality. Assist in maintaining Snowflake environments to enhance performance and reduce costs while integrating data science tools into the ecosystem.
Required Qualifications
- At least 4 years' relevant experience
- Experience in data analysis, data objects development and modeling in Snowflake data store
- Snowflake REST API experience
- Informatica ETL and Talend ETL experience
- Efficient SQL queries development and Python scripts development experience
- Proven ability to work in distributed systems
- Proficiency with relational databases (such as DB2, SQL) querying and focus on data transformations
- Strong data modelling concepts and schema design on relational data store and on cloud data store
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Capable of collaborating effectively across a variety of IT and Business groups, across regions and different roles
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI is a plus
