Job Summary
Build and optimize robust data pipelines to process multi-terabyte geospatial and remote sensing datasets for internal teams and clients. Design and implement automated extraction, transformation, and load flows while managing complete data architectures and schemas across varied sources. Mentor teammates on best practices in data management and advocate for efficient processing methods to ensure high standards of performance and accuracy. Communicate with external and internal stakeholders to coordinate efforts and draft high-level design documents. Optimize data aggregations while maintaining compliance with privacy policies and author technical documentation and telemetry specs. This role supports DataTeams' mission to help technology companies find skill-specific AI-enabled data professionals.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years' work-related experience in data engineering, analysis and business intelligence
- experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- experience with building moderately complex data visualisations on real data
- experience with physical implementation of moderately complex logical database designs and relational database concepts
- Strong communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Azure Cloud and any data flow automation
