Job Summary
Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure supporting analytics, AI/ML, and business intelligence for BankX's digital banking platform. Responsibilities include designing and optimizing batch and real-time data processing, implementing ETL/ELT workflows with Azure Data Services, Databricks, and Delta Lake, ensuring data quality and governance, collaborating on data models and architecture, and enabling model-ready datasets in collaboration with data scientists and analysts. Required skills include 4+ years in data engineering, strong SQL and Python, experience with Azure Data Services, Databricks, Delta Lake, ETL/ELT pipelines at scale, data modeling, data governance and security practices, and professional proficiency in Thai and English. Preferred experience includes banking/fintech exposure, streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Azure Event Hubs), CI/CD for data pipelines, metadata tools (Unity Catalog, Azure Purview), and Agile/Scrum environments.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation and processing
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Services, Databricks, and Delta Lake
- Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines at scale
- Familiarity with data modeling concepts and distributed data systems
- Understanding of data governance, data quality, and security practices
- Proficient in Thai and English at intermediate level or above
