Job Summary
Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture, assembling large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements by automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability. Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and key business performance metrics. Work with stakeholders including Executives, Product, Data, and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their infrastructure needs. Perform root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced working ETL processes knowledge
- Working familiarity SQL
- Proficient in Python and/or javascript
- Experience with ETL tools such as Airflow
- Exposure with BI tools like BigQuery, GCP
- Experience with scripting like Batch, Shell, etc
- Experience building and optimizing big data pipelines, architectures and data sets
- Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
- Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets
- Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a Data Engineer role
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative field
