Job Summary
Lead design and analysis activities for Data Display and Controls (DDC) Electronics, including drafting and flowing down requirements, authoring design guidelines, and presenting material at design reviews. Responsible for integrating LRUs in the lab, conducting tests and demonstrations, and leading subcontract-management for requirements sell-off and CVID buy-off. Drive technical changes through review boards, addressing risk, issues, and opportunities. Requires collaboration with leadership, customers, suppliers, engineers, and technicians, and involves travel (10%). Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in a STEM discipline and active Secret clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 2 years of related engineering experience
- Master's Degree in STEM with 0 years of related engineering experience
- Active US Government Secret Clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
- Experience with design, development, and integration of flight deck equipment
- Knowledge of system engineering design methods including requirements analysis and flow-down
- Experience with COTS/MIL-COTS hardware functional design and performance analysis
- Experience with TRL evaluation with supplier current and future products
