Job Summary
Data Configuration Engineer (R Shiny) will design and implement advanced clinical systems to enhance trial design and execution. Configure data extraction and transformations across multiple data sources at the study level, partner with data engineers and stakeholders, ensure accurate data formats and delivery with quality deliverables, and participate in development, maintenance and training around transfer specs and best practices. Additional duties include quality review of vendor activities, adherence to SOPs for computer system validation and GCP regulations, compliance with learning curricula and GxP requirements, and the ability to juggle competing tasks in a fast-paced environment. Required are a relevant bachelor's (or master's) degree with substantial health-data experience, hands-on R Shiny/dashboard skills, EDC/data management/extraction configuration experience, knowledge of data flow between clinical systems, familiarity with XMLS/ALS/APIs, and proficiency in R/SAS/Python/SQL, plus SDTM understanding and strong project-management capabilities. Preferable: developing R Shiny/Python apps, Hadoop, Agile, Veeva CDB, JSON, CQL/CDB, C#, and related technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus 5 years / Masters with 3 years in computer science, statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, biology or other health related field or equivalent experience
- Hands on experience in R Shiny (Dashboard Experience)
- Experience with EDC build, Data Management, and EDC extraction configuration
- Knowledge of data flow between clinical data management systems, vendor devices and CDMS/CDR
- Knowledge of XMLS, ALS, APIs and MDR preferred
- Experience with R Shiny, SQL, SAS, R, Python
- Understanding of SDTM
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
