Data – Compliance Senior Analyst II

Job Summary
Senior Compliance Data Analyst to support Data Lineage and Governance initiatives at Interactive Brokers. You will help implement Data policies, oversee enterprise-wide data lifecycle governance, and collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen data quality. Responsibilities include producing source-to-destination data maps for AML compliance reports and systems; designing periodic and adhoc supervisory reports; guiding data incidents and remediation; implementing internal control enhancements; coordinating responses to regulatory inquiries from foreign and US regulators; and drafting firm policies, controls and written supervisory procedures. Ideal candidates will have 5-7 years’ experience in a broker-dealer, investment manager or regulator; a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Computer Science, Data Sciences or Information Systems; experience with data catalog, metadata management tools, data classification and data loss protection policies; knowledge of UNIX, SQL, Python and databases; and strong analytical, collaborative, and communication skills. The role is hybrid (4 days in office / 1 day remote) based in Greenwich, CT, with a competitive compensation package including annual bonus and stock grant.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years’ experience with a broker-dealer, investment manager or regulator
- Bachelors or Masters in Finance, Business, Economics, Computer Science, Data Sciences or Information Systems preferred
- Experience with data catalog, business glossaries, mapping and metadata management tools
- Experience with data classification and data loss protection policies and controls
- Experience with triaging data incidents
- Working knowledge of data related regulations for data management and data protection
- Knowledge of UNIX, SQL, Python and databases is a plus
- Ability to develop solutions that satisfy relevant regulations while executing sound business judgment
- Ability to work both independently as well as in a small-team environment, and to multi-task with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervision
- Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent collaboration and communication (verbal and written) skills
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
